Joseph Reyes, O.D. is a board certified optometric physician.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in vision science from Southeastern University of the health sciences, and his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova University.
He has been working with the lions club for more than ten years providing eye care for under-privileged and needy citizens. He has given several public lectures on: “The Aging Eye.”, “Diet and Eye Care”, and "Dry Eye Syndrome and Treatment”.
He is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
When not at work he enjoys numerous water sports including scuba diving and spear fishing.
Dr. Reyes joined Community Eye Center in 2010, but has been in practice in the Port Charlotte area for over 13 years.
